Galangal (Lengkuas)

Galangal
Galangal is used in many Nyonya recipes and is known for its amazing medicinal properties. This rhizome (mass of roots) has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-parasitical properties. You can safely consume it with your food or make a simple hot tea with it. It can be grown as you would grow regular ginger.

 

Lengkuas
Lengkuas ialah bahan masakan yang banyak digunakan di dalam resipi-resepi Nyonya dan ubat ubatan. Rizom ini bertindak sebagai anti-bakteria, anti-jangkitan candida, dan anti-cacing. Anda boleh meletakkan lengkuas di dalam masakan atau ia juga boleh dijadikan minuman seperti teh panas. Selain itu, ia mudah untuk di tanam dengan menggunakan cara yang sama untuk menanam halia.
