Sizzling Peppery Plates at NY Steak Shack

From Sizzling Lamb Leg to Sizzling Emerald Fish, if you’re heading to a mall and looking for some crackle and pop on your plate, check out NY Steak Shack. All American favourites such as steaks, burgers and milk shakes are on offer. We think the food is simple, tasty and just what you would expect from an affordable New York style steak place.

Featuring Sarawak Black Pepper

Between April 2nd to May 13th, 2018, NY Steak Shack is featuring dishes inspired by one of the best black peppers in the world, our very own Sarawak Black Pepper. We love when restaurants feature Malaysian ingredients! There are a total of five promotional dishes all served on a sizzling skillet. Best of all it’s topped with not only black pepper sauce, but crispy garlic flakes and garlic butter. Yum.

“We’re excited to introduce this latest recipe with a twist and continue to grow the brand and bring our innovative menu to fans throughout Malaysia.” – Muhammad Adam Mah, Brand General Manager of NY Steak Shack.

NY Steak Shack is calling their new dishes ‘Pepper-Licious’! Included in the series are Sizzling Duck Chop (RM27.90), Sizzling Beef Tenderloin Skewers (RM34.90), Sizzling Lamb Leg (RM35.90), Sizzling Chicken Cevapi (RM23.90) and Sizzling Emerald Fish (RM24.90). In fact, the fish is our very own personal favourite! We found that the punchy black pepper and toasty fried garlic paired perfectly with the delicate fish.

Butterkicap Team

We're just a small group of friends who love food, culture and Malaysia. We saw the rise of mediocre food, deteriorating relationships and missed the good old days of Malaysia where food was good, homes were warmer and full of friends and family. So we rolled up our sleeves, and made Butterkicap with the hope that it will bring people and flavors home.
